We’ve all had those days where we rush to the gym in the cutest set but forget one thing: fueling ourselves properly. The truth is, what you eat before and after your workout can completely change how strong you feel, how well you recover, and how consistent you stay with your routine.
Think of food as your workout partner- it’s there to support, energize, and help you bounce back stronger. Here are some quick, realistic pre- and post-workout snacks that gym girlies swear by.
Pre-Workout Snacks: Energy + Focus
Before your session, you want a snack that gives you a quick energy boost but won’t weigh you down.
½ banana with 1 tsp almond butter → instant carbs for energy + healthy fats for staying power.
1 rice cake with a thin spread of cottage cheese → quick carbohydrate source, light, and keeps your blood sugar stable.
Berries and Greek yoghurt → Berries rich in antioxidants, yoghurt is a probiotic and protein rich.

Thursday - Matcha Club: Hip & Heart Opening Yoga
We kicked off the weekend with an energizing and expansive yoga session at Matcha Club, set against the club’s signature minimalist, nature-infused backdrop. This wasn’t just a yoga class, it was a journey inward!
Led by skilled instructors, the hip and heart-opening sequence focused on unlocking tension, cultivating emotional release and inviting participants to reconnect with their bodies and breath ☘️
Saturday - African Queen: Yoga & Breakfast by the Sea
Saturday morning brought us to the stunning African Queen, where we curated a morning of mindful movement followed by a nourishing breakfast experience!
Set along the beautiful waters, this session merged flow and flavor - opening with an uplifting yoga practice to awaken the senses, then flowing seamlessly into a wholesome breakfast with ocean views 🌊
We closed the weekend at the luxurious W Abu Dhabi with our RE(treat) wellness event - a full-spectrum experience of restoration and renewal 🧘🏻♀️
Guests were treated to a curated lineup of wellness activities including yoga, HIIT, sound healing, skincare consultation, and spin class and access to W’s stunning wellness facilities. With its sweeping views of Yas Marina, the W set the perfect tone for a day of mindful indulgence and deep connection. Whether participants came to unwind or energize, RE(treat) delivered moments of stillness, movement, and community that linger long after checkout!☘️

We found rolls of premium, breathable, buttery soft fabric that were left behind- not damaged, not outdated, just overlooked. So we decided to give them their moment. Rather than contributing to the cycle of overproduction, we’re choosing to reimagine what's already available. These fabrics are high quality, breathable, and built to perform, they just never got their moment to shine.
